Prior to XChat version 2.6.0, there was an IRC menu available. This menu contained the following options:
- Mark user as Invisible
- Receive Wallops
- Receive Server Notices
- Auto Rejoin when Kicked
- Auto Reconnect to Server
- Never-give-up ReConnect
- Auto Open Dialog Windows
- Auto Accept Direct Chat
- Auto Accept Files
- Leave Channel
- Join Channel...
- Server Links
- Ping Server
- Hide Version
- Log Everything
While all of these settings are still available in other locations or by using /set, if you would like the convenience of the menu, XChat offers a User Menu that is fully configurable. For the items in the previous IRC menu, follow these instructions:
- Save http://seerofsouls.com/XchatScripts/usermenu.conf into your XChat Profile Directory
- /set gui_usermenu on
- Restart XChat
